Andrea Cordoba

I'm a Mexican documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn.

For the past 6 years, I have worked in New York as a visual storyteller exploring the medium in relation to immigrant and Latinx voices. I was a newsroom intern at CNN, a Researcher for documentary film 500 Years (2017), an Archival Coordinator for documentary Bones of Contention (2017) and I'm currently the Associate Producer for documentary Harvest Season (2018). Sanctuary (2019) is my directorial debut.

I received a BA in Anthropology and Journalism from NYU and an MFA in Social Documentary Film from the School of Visual Arts.
